East Village offers customers a distinctive and engaging retail experience combining the best of a ‘marketplace’ with the sophistication of a modern retail centre. East village contains a dining precinct with a number of large restaurants combining a number of different cooking types. AOM was engaged at the base build level and was specified as the supplier for all commercial kitchen exhaust filtration equipment.
The discharge point of this project was sensitive as it discharges at the podium level with apartments above and surrounding the retail centre. Due to this, stringent tenancy level filtration was required. AOM supplied kitchen exhaust hoods with FILTRAIR filtration systems to 7 tenants in order to meet the requirements of the East Village Green Star fitout. FILTRAIR utilises a combination of in-hood filtration and ozone generation to mitigate smoke and odour creating a compliant discharge particularly effective for sensitive discharge points.
AOM services these tenancies monthly providing years of on going servicing and maintenance, prolonging the life and subsequently the warranties of the equipment.
