AOM Australia equipped the Hyatt Regency at 161 Sussex St Sydney with Auto Clean electrostatic precipitators for the filtration of the hotel kitchen exhaust prior to discharge.
The AutoClean units offer the advantage of a self wash cycle to eliminate filter replacement and electrostatic precipitator cell cleaning. The filters could therefore be fully fire rated and sealed once connected.
AOM Australia supplied a double pass AutoClean 8000 configuration as well as a single pass AutoClean 4000.
Since installation, the filters have been running without any servicing and maintenance requirements other than filling up the detergent. The units are connected to the BMS to provide real time status information.
