PACIFIC has created a new destination at Bondi beach combining, high end apartments, QT Boutique Hotel and a shopping and dining precinct, home to exclusive restaurants and boutiques.

AOM has supplied and now services commercial kitchen hood exhausts and filtration equipment to a number of the establishments within this large project. The newly opened Pacific Club restaurant has installed one of AOMs newest products, a Duct misting unit.

The Pacific Club was a challenge for AOM as they have included in their kitchen a solid fuel cooking station to create their signature wood fired flavours. Firstly the filtration equipment is subject to high temperatures for long periods at a time. And secondly, the filtration equipment is required to filter smoke particles and grease from the meat as well as live embers and sparks from the fire pit. The filtration needed to ensure that no visible smoke or odour was discharged at the residence and hotel levels.

Waverley Council had a strict “No Odour” requirement for The Pacific Club requiring an independent odour assessment report prior to allowing the restaurant to open. Odour sampling was taken during non-peak and peak operating scenarios to ensure that the equipment held up to the most demanding of cooking situations. AOM’s filtration and odour mitigation equipment passed all testing and received a council “approved” stamp leaving The Pacific Club to get on with the launch of their exciting new restaurant.

AOM  supports the PACIFIC development with frequent site visits and inspections of the hoods and filtration equipment in Bondi Beach Public Bar, Parida, Panama House, Macelleria and The Pacific Club. This guarantees that the equipment continues to provide the exhaust and filtration solution required in this idyllic location.
