AOM Australia equips the Sydney Opera House – the most iconic Australian building – in commercial kitchen exhaust filtration equipment

Sydney’s most iconic building, the Opera House, attracts millions of visitors a year. The building has numerous food and beverage tenancies, which are located under the structure. Any discharge of kitchen exhaust can only be done at street level. Visible smoke and / or significant odour emissions are not acceptable around such a venue.

AOM equipped the Opera House with AOM SCRUBBOX Series Electrostatics Precipitators to ensure particle filtration of the kitchen exhaust (mainly grease particles) and AOM Series Ozone Generators to mitigate the intensity of the cooking odour. The additional benefits of the grease filtration include a significantly decreased the fire risk of the exhaust system.

The equipment was supplied in 2017. Since then, the equipment has been work to specifications and the kitchen exhaust has been fully treated.
